A Hidden Gem for Tea & Coffee Lovers – Don’t Miss the Cakes Upstairs! I dropped by 8 Inch by Legend recently and was really impressed. I tried their latte and the Jasmine Genmaicha Gateau—both were excellent in their own ways. The latte was smooth and well-balanced. You get that lovely coffee aroma upfront, followed by a creamy finish from the milk. It’s comforting and satisfying—just the kind of cup that warms you up inside. The Jasmine Genmaicha Gateau is something special. The tea flavour is bold and deeply fragrant, especially with that toasted genmaicha note. Tea lovers will appreciate how rich and distinct it is. If you're not into tea, you might hesitate—but honestly, I love that they didn’t water it down to please everyone. Keep it bold! Let the tea lovers have their moment, haha. One thing many might miss: the café is upstairs, and it’s kind of a hidden spot. But once you find it, you'll notice how cute and beautiful their cakes are! I don’t just enjoy eating cakes—I love looking at them too. And here, every cake looks like a tiny piece of art. So adorable and well presented! The ambience is also a huge plus. It’s cozy, photogenic, and has some really charming corners that are perfect for taking pictures. Trust me, if you're into café-hopping and photography, this spot won’t disappoint.

My first time here after getting to know this cafe for so so long. They have Buy 1 50% off for 2nd slice but only for Tuesdays. Sadly, it wasn't a Tuesday when I went. I bought this nutty pistachio cake for RM20. But I dont know why they need go charge service charge when I opt for takeaway. Minus 1 star for that. The cake is really lessss sweet, not dry, packed with lots of pistachio. Love the aroma! Definitely, real stuff!

Located at first floor. Parking may be difficult to find. There is multilevel paid parking available nearby. Tried the signature chocolate and mix berries cheesecake. Both cake taste quite good, not sweet. Order at counter. Free water -self service. Board games available too

You must love cakes and coffee to come here. Simply the best cakes and desserts here. Very pure unique taste and flavour. Try the dark chocolate cake, super yummy. The coffee is thick and excellent. Price is reasonable and good place to chill too.

a very cosy & comfy cafe! serves great beverages & super cute cakes love their jasmine genmaicha gateau! definitely one of the best that i’ve tried. their latte is good too. suitable for working here or studying! they’ve got plugs at almost each table which is super convenient. staff service was great as well, very welcoming & positive attitude! definitely worth the visit

Love the kurohouji (black sesame Houjicha cake) !!!! Dark choc cake is standard, rich in flavour. Ample parking available, atmosphere is quite chill. Will definitely revisit

Their cake and service were all 5 stars. The texture of that genmaicha cake was to my liking. Denser in texture. I dont know how to describe but honestly it's very nice in both texture and taste. The sweetness level was very very very light that you needed a bit of effort and awareness to taste it! I ordered the 2nd slice after gaining some confidence on my 1st slice. They would serve extra pistachio nuts on the top of the pistachio cake as displayed in the frideg which made it so very very satisfactory... !Take a look at this pic. It was so much that it spilled over the plate as i cutted it. Service was 5 stars too... the waitress at the counter was very polite and spoke very softly. Enjoyed my time working here with my laptop running low in power. Power plug available below the seat.

Another area that I'd avoid at all cost will be USJ Taipan area. The memory of getting stuck in traffic back to the time when I was still a student in INTI Subang made me think twice before coming here. But this time it was unavoidable because the minister had to meet someone. After the meeting, she asked "coffee?" And I instantly knew that she wanted me to crack my brain and bring her somewhere new for coffee. Lucky for me I kept a list of cafes in Subang area but I still had to spend some time looking for a parking spot in this notorious area. Located on the first floor of shoplot, 8 Inch by Legend Bakery was doing roaring business on Saturday afternoon. ◾Nutty Pistachio Cake was good as I love nutty and pistachio together. ◾Flat White paired well with the slice of cake. ◾Orange Americano - orange and coffee made a good tagteam. Another cafe crossed off the list.
